In this short course you will learn how to program in R and how to use R for practical issues. We will cover the following topics:

• R data types and objects
• reading and writing data
• loops and conditional structures
• Loop functions (lapply, ...)
• writing R functions
• programming in R
• simulation using R

We also provide a project for interested students to work it out.
